Browlift
A browlift elevates the eyebrows to their normal position and reduces the muscular action of the forehead and frownlines between the eyebrow. Our goal is to create a rested, natural appearing brow.
Reasons to Consider a Browlift:
• Reduce wrinkles in the forehead and between the eyes
• Create space between the eyelashes and eyebrows
• A drop in the brow is usually the major cause of the "tired look" around the eyes

General Procedure
There are a few different methods of a browlift that Dr. Clement performs: an open or coronal browlift, in which he makes an incision across the scalp, behind or at the hairline; an endoscopic browlift, where small vertical and horizontal incisions are made; and a limited incision browlift, where a lateral incision on the eyelid is made to remove the muscle. No hair from the scalp is shaved in any of these procedures.
Recovery Process
In most cases, the face is fitted with bandages and a drain in order to decrease the recovery time and to reduce swelling. If so, the bandage may be removed within 24-36 hours. Expect bruising and swelling to last between two and four weeks. Some numbness and decreased musle action for days or even up to a few weeks is common as well. Generally, post-operative instructions call for plenty of rest and limited movement in order to speed up the healing and recovery process.
